About Me

Shalese Flake is an executive assistant, social media manager, grant writer, blog writer, and web designer for 360 Eats, a nonprofit startup in Clearwater, FL. She uses analytics, social media insights, active listening, and surveys to increase brand awareness and audience engagement. Shalese believes in the importance of giving people content that is informative, enjoyable, and adds value, in order to attract the support needed for the organization’s success.

By revamping the nonprofit’s website, creating an additional site for their catering business, taking over the social media accounts, and engaging with the community, Shalese has helped the small organization generate over $3,000 in donations, increase social media following by 50%, fill over 100 volunteer shifts, and obtain grants totaling $12,000.

Shalese is currently working on obtaining her UI|UX Design certificate from Springboard and will graduate in September of 2024. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida.

When she’s not passionately fighting food insecurity and food waste in Pinellas County with 360 Eats, Shalese enjoys reading self-help, fiction, and thriller novels. She loves meditating in nature, watching sunsets, and exploring new places.
